Founder, CEO & Mission Steward
Visionary founder and servant leader, Michael Furey brings an entrepreneurial yet relational approach to strengthening Catholic institutions through people-first strategy, culture building, and mission momentum. After a successful career in sales, marketing, and business development, he was invited by his brother, Larry Furey (Founder & CEO of Partners in Mission and Partners in Mission School Leadership Search Solutions 2008-2024), to co-lead the creation and scaling of a national executive search practice serving Catholic schools, dioceses, religious communities.
That season of collaboration was among the most rewarding of his career, confirming that when work is aligned with mission and relationships, and when one is mentored by a leader of vision and faith such as Larry Furey, it becomes more than a job—it becomes a calling, a ministry that unites faith, leadership, service, and stewardship.
Over the past decade, Michael has secured hundreds of mission-fit leaders, guided school and ministry teams through pivotal transitions, conducted strategic and operational assessments, and advised boards and leadership teams with clarity and care. From Maine to Maui, his work is recognized for delivering results through accessible, affordable, and actionable solutions.
Michael’s expertise spans executive search and talent engagement, leadership coaching and team development, strategic and succession planning, and organizational design and operational vitality. He is known for aligning people, strategy, and culture—building trust, translating vision into steady execution, and fostering environments where Catholic mission can thrive.
A graduate of the University of Scranton with a B.S. in Accounting and a product of 16 years of Catholic education, Michael is rooted in Catholic teachings and Jesuit values. Formed by the AMDG ethos, he leads with conviction that mission comes before margin, and that relationships—not transactions—are the true currency of long-term success.
