Mary Kate Blaine

Kate is a Catholic education leader and executive strategist with more than two decades of experience in Catholic school leadership, strategic planning, and leadership development. She has served as a head of school, principal, and chief of staff, guiding communities through growth, transition, and mission-driven transformation in a collaborative way, always focused on each educational community's unique spirit and animating values.
As Head of School at Trinity Hall, she oversaw a $7M budget and $26M in assets, led initiatives to support admissions growth and successful transitions for new families, and ensured faculty and student engagement at a school celebrating its first decade. Earlier, as Principal at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School, she advanced academic excellence, faculty development, and student formation at a 225-year-old institution. She also served as Chief of Staff to the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of New York, where she supported governance, mission effectiveness, and leadership pipelines.
Mary Kate managed the Pilot Coaching Program for the University of Notre Dame’s Remick Leadership Program (2024-2025), delivering targeted coaching for Catholic school leaders. She holds credentialing as an executive coach through the International Coaching Federation and the Center for Credentialing in Education. Through her coaching, she equips leaders with the vision, strategy, and support to lead with excellence and faith. She holds an Ed.M. and M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a B.A. from Fordham University, and volunteers as a leadership coach supporting first-generation college students through Braven.
