Ken Willers is a visionary and mission-driven educational leader with more than two decades of experience transforming Catholic schools and diocesan systems through innovative leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence. Renowned for designing impactful learning programs, fostering collaborative partnerships, and navigating complex change with creativity and clarity, Ken has left an indelible mark on Catholic education. As a Catholic educational consultant, he provides expert guidance to Catholic schools and dioceses, strengthening leadership capacity and mission effectiveness.
Ken previously served as President of Notre Dame Academy in Duluth, GA, where he led initiatives that strengthened community engagement, earned national recognition, and drove significant campus improvements to enrich the student experience. As Associate Superintendent for the Diocese of Oakland, he provided strategic oversight for 41 schools, mentoring leaders and implementing professional formation programs to advance mission effectiveness. Earlier, as Principal of the School of the Madeleine in Berkeley, CA, he spearheaded a $2.7 million campus transformation into a 21st-century learning hub, earning national acclaim for its vision and innovation.
A published author, national speaker, and collaborator with organizations like NCEA, ISTE, and leading EdTech firms, Ken is a sought-after coach and facilitator known for strengthening culture, communication, and performance in educational institutions. He holds an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Catholic Diocesan Leadership from The Catholic University of America, a Master of Divinity from the Jesuit School of Theology at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, and a BA in Philosophy with a Secondary Teaching Credential from Don Bosco College in New Jersey. Recognized with prestigious honors, including the NAESP National Distinguished Principal Award (2017) and multiple NCEA awards, Ken is a trusted voice in Catholic education and leadership development.
