Katie Shubnell

Katie is a mission-driven leader and executive search consultant dedicated to helping Catholic institutions flourish through aligned leadership, organizational vitality, and sustainable growth. With more than a decade of experience in executive search and nonprofit leadership, she has developed a reputation for identifying and cultivating leaders who not only bring the right skills but also embody the character and cultural alignment needed to advance Catholic schools, dioceses, and social ministries.
A Michigan native, Katie began her career in philanthropy within a Michigan health system, where she witnessed firsthand the power of mission-focused leadership to transform institutions and impact lives. She later earned an M.P.A. in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Michigan following her undergraduate studies at Madonna University.
Her roots in executive search run deep. Working alongside her father, Paul Daudlin, at his nationally recognized healthcare firm, she quickly grew into leadership within Daudlin Search, expanding its reach to education and nonprofit placements. Since then, she has guided numerous searches that secured leaders capable of shaping strategy, building culture, and inspiring confidence in their communities.
Beyond her professional commitments, Katie invests her time in Catholic and nonprofit initiatives, including Kids On The Go, which serves children and teens with special needs. She and her husband, Kevin, live in suburban Detroit with their five children, where faith, family, and service remain at the center of their lives.
