Annabelle is a dynamic and mission-driven human resources executive with over two decades of strategic leadership across healthcare, education, biotech, public sector, and nonprofit sectors. Most recently serving as Senior Director of Human Resources for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Annabelle supported 600 sites and 16,000 employees, spearheading HR transformation initiatives rooted in values-driven leadership, organizational effectiveness, and inclusive workplace culture. Her expertise spans talent development, succession planning, performance management, dispute resolution, and compliance, with proven success in streamlining systems, improving time-to-fill rates, and reducing risk.
A bilingual leader fluent in English and Spanish, Annabelle is known for fostering collaboration, building high-performing HR teams, and aligning people strategy with mission and operational goals. Her earlier roles include HR leadership at California Institute of the Arts and HemaCare, where she delivered measurable impact in employee retention, safety, and engagement.
Annabelle is also an experienced educator, having taught HR courses at Los Angeles Valley College for nearly two decades. She holds a B.A. from California State University, Northridge, and a professional HR designation from UCLA. A respected voice in the field, she has held leadership roles in PIHRA, NACPA, and NHRA, and actively mentors emerging HR professionals.
